Day 6: April 12, 2012

Today is Travis's birthday. All Dallas talked about for weeks was what he wanted to get his Daddy for his birthday. He would say to me, "Mommy, guess what? I'm getting a game for Daddy for his birthday, but you can't tell him." So his poppa went to get a game for Travis and gave it to Dallas to give to him for his birthday. As soon as he gave Dallas the game, Dallas hid it under the covers. When he gave it to him, Dallas's eyes lit up. He was so excited, and to see the smile on Dallas's face just made Travis's day, it was the best birthday present he could have asked for.

Dallas has progressed well. He has been getting in bed by himself and is moving much better. We are optimistic that things will continue to improve. Please pray for him.
