Dallas had a rough day today. He was so active and excited the day before, I believe he just overexerted himself and was wore out. He had more pain and itching and was very lethargic. His temperature also rose to 104 and stayed almost all day.

The plastic surgeons came in again to look at Dallas and let us know what was going on with regards to needing skin grafts on his face. They are still unsure if he will need any grafting to the face and we have been advised that they are looking into putting cadaver skin on his face to cover as a dressing. This will accelerate new skin growth and will also give him less exposure to the elements that can cause infection and hinder the skin buds from appearing.

It's hard to see your baby go from having such an improvement, to a setback like this. But there will be peaks and valleys during this journey, and this was just one of them.

Pray for his recovery to be healthy and speedy.
